Wing IDE runs on Windows, Linux, and OS X (as an X11 application), and may be compiled from source on some other operating systems. For details, see Supported Platforms in the manual.
Supported Python Versions
Wing IDE supports most CPython versions, including debug builds, 32-bit, 64-bit, and Stackless Python. The debugger can also be built from sources to support a custom compilation configuration or to debug remotely to other OSes and embedded devices. For details, see Supported Python Versions in the product manual.
Wing IDE's debugger currently does not support IronPython, Jython, PyPy or other Python implementations. However, the editor and most of the other tools in Wing IDE can be used with any of these, if a matching version of CPython is available on your system.
